Our Stories
The "Our Stories" project by Le Afio'aga o Aotearoa aims to shift from individual storytelling to a collective narrative, incorporating the Soalaupule approach, which emphasizes shared authority and accountability. The project focuses on building a collective spirit using "Le Afio’aga" terminology, integrating it into various levels of the ecosystem. The initiative includes website integration, narrative sharing through videocasts and podcasts, and a language shift towards "Nofo-a-kainga" Voices, highlighting collective responsibility and prosperity. The project acknowledges the legacy of previous generations in shaping the current environment and aspires to capture community aspirations through diverse storytelling. The objectives include using communication to highlight the impact of the Locality Partnership's activities on local communities and collaborating with other organisations.
